Weather on Koh Chang in October

Every year in October, a new life begins on Koh Chang. Ferries begin to run faster, traffic on the only street on the island is revitalised, new cafes and shops open their doors: a large tourist anthill begins to swarm on the eve of the hot days of the "high" season. Officially, October is considered the "green" season, but the weather is improving, sunny days are becoming more and more, and the rains are gradually disappearing. It is noteworthy that in most hotels special prices still apply, and experienced tourists choose October for their holidays. Not surprisingly, the weather is excellent and the accommodation is inexpensive.
By the end of the month, the amount of precipitation drops to 180-220 mm, and the air temperature is set at around 30 degrees. The sea calms down, and now the island gives its first visitors stunning sunsets.
